It's thursday today. The weather today is chilly and luckily no rain in the morning. I went to work for short shift and sth happen.. We have got 3 persons to work in a section and usually we only need 2 the most for a section but today we have got 3 person and the left out one was ME!!! I was like grrrr...why i pick up this shift as we have got 2 carers already! Actually i have got an assessment which is organised well by the nurse manager who want to assess me and i think i am so dump this morning as i was too nervous. The assessor come to me and i am very sure that she is going to assess me after she called my name! She ask me who am i going to do after and she is going to assess me! I was shock! and My mind keep saying NO, PLEASE and i haven't prepare yet and it was so sudden! Anyways, i have to undergoes those assessment sooner or later i have to sit for the assessment also! ok.. I am going to do a double assist old man which he is a shower today and first i am going to look for the care plan to make sure that i am doing the right thing! I have my partner to help me! He is so funny.. He is nervous than me and keep do my things. The assessor said that she is just going to assess me and he just need to help me to trasfer. Something goes wrong was we use the full sling to transfer the man to the shower chair! and i know I AM SO WRONG and i thought i will be told off after this but NOT at all because the assessor doesn't know how to use the lifter thingy. My partner trying to look for another lifter as the bloody lifter in the room was flat and the assessor pick that up on me. She say u should pull the broken lifter away to save the time! I was like who is going to look for the old man? can i just leave him on the bed or something? Is this my FAULT? As usual i shaved, brushed his teeth, shower and dry in improper way (as the old man's left hand cant even move and very very damn stiff) The assessor said that i have to goes right under his broken arm to dry it! make sure it's dry as well as the other error was.. i did't pull the fold of the penis (it's a nursing care) and wash the penis properly it was because i am run out of time! Another errors were the lifter thingy as we cannot swing the old man around to put him on the bed as it's under safety as well as she told me that i have to put every pillows on the bed and dont leave them on the chair but my rational was the quilt is not enough to cover the pillow and i am run out of time! The heater thingy as well due to this cold weather! I really FORGOT and dont even remember about that!!!Time management killed me as well because i finished him within an hours maybe she start it when i go to look for the care plan? that's NOT FAIR!!!
Anyways, some of my good thing was my HANDWASHING! She said my handwashing was very good and hygiene care such as dry between toes and fingers, good initiative, infection control, correct bed making, and such.. It seems the good thing is much lesser than the bad thing! arhh..i gonna improve next time! it's too sudden!!!Anyways, it's OVER!!!
I went to change my nighties that i bought it last week which was too big for me! Luckily the cashier allow me to change to smaller size! I came back and bought 3 stupid expensive chicken!!! as i thought they are less than $10 which they are actually $10 per kilos!!! I paid about $26 for those bloody chicken! Anyways, i have cooked one of the chicken with the rice ans this time my cooking taste nice but i cant finish it and i left it for tomorrow! Back from nap and start with my fish aquarium and essays!!!
